NANS TrZone Releases Communique for Convention 2015

NANS TURKISH ZONE PRE CONVENTION COMMUNIQUE

The first Pre-convention of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Turkish Zone held on the 28/12/2014, which lasted for over four hours at Girne American University (GAU).

After much deliberations and intense consultations, the NANS Turkish zone unanimously agreed and wishes to announce the congress resolutions as follows:

ELECTION BYLAWS 

1) All contestants should be active students.

2) All contestants should have at least, one academic session (two semesters).

3) Contestants contesting for the office of the President and Vice President should have a CGPA of not less than 2.50, and contestants contesting for other offices should have a CGPA of not less than 2.00.

4) Contestants contesting for the office of the President and Vice President would pay a fee of 100tl and contestants contesting for other offices would pay a fee of 50tl.

5) Contestants should not resort to defamation of character as a means of campaign against fellow contestants.

Sanction: Nullification of eligibility.

CONVENTION PLANNING COMMITTEE

The committee will work with schools officials as well as the police to make sure all contestants are screened. The following committee members;

Convention Date: December 12th, 2015 at 10am prompt.

Convention Venue: Near East University, Lefkosia.
